Care home group supports Fete's accessible seating
A care home opening in Hythe this summer is supporting the accessible seating platform for wheelchair users. Martello Manor by Boutique Care Homes has offered to sponsor this section of seating to enable those less able to be able to enjoy the Fete.
Marlene Abreu, Home Manager of Martello Manor, said: "We may have only been in town a short while, but Hythe already feels like home. Supporting the Fete's accessible seating is a natural step for us. We want everyone in this community to be able to enjoy events like this, and we're proud to play a small part in making that happen."
Steven Way, Chair Hythe Venetian Fete, commented: "This invaluable sponsorship from Martello Manor means we can continue to provide a dedicated space for those who need accessible entry to the Fete. The canal bank is not an ideal spot for those with wheelchairs or walking difficulties. Whilst space is limited, the accessible platform means that the Fete can be enjoyed by all. Thank you Martello Manor for helping the Fete."
Tickets for the Fete will go on sale from 1 May via the Hythe Venetian Fete website.
