Committee members, Site Manager, Ticket Coordinator, Volunteers Leader

Do you have a passion for the local community, Hythe and the surrounding area? Do you want to make a difference?

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Hythe Venetian Fete Committee. This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills, ideas, and passion to help us deliver an exciting and memorable event for generations to come.

  • Site Manager – to work with our third-party suppliers (site builders, electricians, PA contractors etc. You will need to be available for the period from approximately 1 July to 20 August for ad hoc visits to the site and site meetings. These would be arranged at your convenience.
  • Ticket Coordinator – to support the ticket sales and liaise with people regarding bookings. Tickets will go on sale from 1 April 2026 and we will need ad hoc support, at your convenience, from then through to Fete Day itself.
  • General Committee Member – for general planning and support for the planning and running of Hythe Venetian Fete 2026 and beyond. You would be asked to attend one meeting per month (usually first Tuesday of month in the evening for up to 2 hours).
  • Volunteers Leader – to lead and support our volunteers during the Fete week.
